Updated: Monday 29 March 2021
As of 5pm, Monday 29 March 2021, the Queensland Government imposed new restrictions for all Queensland based venues. It is now a mandatory government requirement that masks must be worn in venue unless eating or drinking, and customers remain seated at all times while visiting our venue unless using facilities such as toilets or when ordering food and drinks. No dancing is allowed.
Furthermore to the above, the Queensland Government has developed a plan to ease COVID-19 trading restrictions to ensure businesses can reopen in a way that encourages business activity but does not compromise the health of our customers, staff and the community.
As of 1am, Tuesday 1 December 2020, the Queensland Government have eased restrictions on businesses further as part of Stage 6 in the roadmap to easing Queenland’s restrictions. View these changes over on the QLD Government website or via this roadmap.
As we welcome the Queensland Government’s direction under Stage 6, things will begin to look a little more normal at the Albatross Bay Resort, ensuring we comply with the government’s guidelines throughout the venue.
Jackpot Gaming Lounge: 7 days, from 10am – 12:30am.
Sports Bar: 7 days, bar open from 10am – late and kitchen open from 12pm – 8:30pm.
Takeaway: 7 days, 12pm – 8:30pm, pick up from the Albatross Liquor Drive.
All patrons will need to provide their full name, address, and mobile number (government requirement).
We want to reassure all our customers that we are following all regulations and guidance provided by health authorities to ensure that our business is COVID Safe. Following the advice from relevant government health authorities, we have taken additional precautionary steps along with implementing a COVID Safe plan to ensure your safety within our venue.
If you are feeling unwell or you develop a fever, a cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath it is highly advisable that you stay home. Management have the right to refuse entry or ask a patron to leave if showing symptoms.
These steps are important in supporting our community as we begin to reopen. We are looking forward to seeing more of your familiar faces as restrictions further lift.
